Welcome to the SODOPREC@ family. We expect our members to be animal activist. Our nation needs gradual changes, but radical, that is if, we want our country to become a civilized nation with legislation to protect animal’s lives.
Welcome to the SODOPREC@ family. We expect our members to be animal activist. Our nation needs gradual changes, but radical, that is if, we want our country to become a civilized nation with legislation to protect animal’s lives.
We are not going to become passive observers of the many abuses suffered by animals. As member of our organization you have the commitment to contribute to make these changes happen as soon as possible. For all these reasons, we require from our members to participate in at least three activities, per year, in defence of animals.
Been a member of SODOPREC@ implies contributing with your talent and your time (voluntarily) in the fight for the well-being of animals in our country. You should contribute with your suggestions and opinions. You could be invited to a protest for the defence of animals, you could be asked to support with your presence a legal battle on behalf of animals.
Other forms in which you could help our cause would be: working some hours as a humane officer in our Animal Control Unit (U.C.A) and participating in our veterinary campaign in aid of animals.
Reporting mistreated animals and their guardians or "people that take care of them", or working as an instructor in our humane education workshops for schools, and work horses guardians.
While we carry out our work we have come across thousands of people that affirmed that they felt consternated when they’ve observed a scene of abuse to an animal, but when we ask them what you are doing to change such circumstances. . The answer was the same: "NOTHING."
A great number of people die, hoping for others to carry out the changes that they want. We as individuals and as organization are committed to make those changes happen here and now, we won't wait for others to carry out the changes that we yearn.
Sincerely,
Marcos A. Polanco
Vice-president
